Mission Statement
The Clubhouse mission is to offer comprehensive psychosocial rehabilitation services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness to help them improve their abilities needed for successful reintegration into the community and to increase their quality of life. The clubhouse provides a supportive and nurturing environment that enhances self motivation, respect for self and others, and a desire to work.

The Clubhouse Model
The Clubhouse model was founded in 1948 in New York City by a group of mentally ill individuals. Since then, the Clubhouse movement have grown to more than 400 clubhouse communities around the world.

Become a Member
Individuals with a mental illness may be referred to Waipahu Aloha Clubhouse by the community mental health centers, their doctor or by calling the ACCESS line at (808) 832-3100. You may also download a referral form (PDF).
